Clark Hall University of Alabama

Owner: university of alabama

Location: tuscaloosa, AL

Project Size: 1,200 SF

Originally completed in 1884 and named after trustee Willis G. Clark, Clark Hall serves as a central hub for the College of Arts and Sciences. It houses administrative offices and studio space for the Department of Theatre and Dance.

As part of a thoughtful renovation, BPA was tasked with improving the North entrance, including adding a covered entry at the top of the ramp to provide protected access to the building. The design carefully replicated original architectural elements, preserving the building’s historic character with the widow’s walk, slate roofing, and cornice profiles.
