Birchfield Penuel Architects is looking for an experienced Marketing Professional to join our team. The Marketing Professional role at Birchfield Penuel Architects plays a key role in shaping and communicating the firm’s brand, coordinating pursuits, and elevating the firm’s visibility across multiple platforms. This position combines strategy, creativity, and collaboration to support business development efforts, manage proposals and qualifications, and ensure consistent, high-quality communication of BPA’s work and culture.

Marketing Professional Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with firm goals

  • Manage and maintain the firm’s website and social media presence

  • Coordinate photography, publications, and award submissions to promote completed work and thought leadership

  • Oversee and maintain consistent use of firm branding standards across all materials and platforms

  • Manage incoming and outgoing request for qualifications (RFQ’s)

  • Manage and collaborate with team members to respond to requests for project qualifications (RFQ)

  • Maintain RFQ correspondence/schedules/etc. and keep a pulse on upcoming project opportunities

  • Design and manage marketing collateral, presentations, and digital/print materials that support pursuits and firm visibility

  • Contribute to identifying potential markets and partnership opportunities to support firm growth

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for BPA at industry events, conferences, and community engagements

  • Support internal culture through event promotion, team communications, and brand storytelling

  • Plan and support firm events, sponsorships, and professional involvement

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, graphic design, or related field

  • Knowledge of social media strategy, analytics, and digital marketing trends

  • Strong work ethic, self-starter, sense of professionalism and a desire to learn

  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual communication skills

  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team setting

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Bonus Qualifications: 

  • Willingness to explore innovative and creative marketing strategies

  • Experience with website management platforms (Squarespace preferred)

  • Proficiency in Bluebeam

  • Experience working in an established architectural firm

  • Experience in responding to corporate requests for qualifications
