The new Greater Birmingham Humane Society campus marks a bold step forward for animal welfare in the region. Designed to serve both animals and the broader community, the campus will become a central hub for care, education, and outreach.
Three interconnected facilities are thoughtfully arranged to maximize flow, functionality, and efficiency. At the core of the campus, a spacious, light-filled lobby welcomes visitors and reflects GBHS’s modern and compassionate mission. A café adjacent to the lobby offers a place to relax and gather. Flexible spaces—including two conference rooms and a large multipurpose room—will support training, collaboration, and community events. These areas ensure the campus is not only a place of care but also a vital center for learning, engagement, and connection.
